About Genoa Hostel
Genoa HI Hostel is an ideal accommodation for anyone who wants to experience the capital of Liguria at its best, without spending too much.
Here you will find the chance to stay in both private rooms with a capacity of 2, 3, 4 or 5 people, both in shared dorms with 8 beds (only female or male). Some rooms have a private bathroom, while the cheapest solutions have a common bathroom at the floor. In any case, sheets and blankets are included in the price (you can rent towels with a 2€ extra cost).
From the hostel you can easily reach the Genoa City Center in a few minutes, via a very enjoyable and scenic bus ride (please consider that the hostel is located in the Righi neighborhood (a nice hilly area) and it dominates the city from above, so on the way you will enjoy breathtaking views).
There are many available services for all Genoa Hostel guests: Internet connection via wi-fi or PC workstations is completely free and for those who come by car (or bus for groups) there's an ample free parking; a bar and vending machines on each floor; there's also a common room with TV and a book crossing point.
The hostel reception is always open (24/7), the only limit is on the room access between 10.00 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. since in that period we need to make the cleanings. There are several areas where you can socialize with other backpackers or have a break (there are vending machines with snacks and soft drinks).
Genoa Youth Hostel is part of the HI - AIG Youth Hostels Association: if you're not already affiliated you can register at the check in paying an extra fee:
- 5€ per person for Italian people (for a year validity card);
- 2€ per person/per day until the sixth day for foreign people.
